Retro Movie Night At Tennessee Riverpark Friday

The Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department and Outdoor Chattanooga will kick off Labor Day Weekend at the Tennessee Riverpark’s Retro Movie Night Friday night.  The event is free.

The public is invited to bring chairs or blankets and watch the movie in the grassy ellipse area near the playgrounds. 

Due to licensing restrictions the name of the movie cannot be released, however it is a Columbia Pictures release from 1991 directed by Steven Spielberg and features Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman in a magical adventure in “Neverland.” 

Family friendly games and a pirate costume contest will be held before the movie and concessions will be sold.  

The activities will begin at 7:30 and movie will begin at dark.  

The movie is sponsored by Lifeguard Ambulance Service,  city of Chattanooga -Outdoor Chattanooga and  Hamilton County Parks and Recreation Department.
