A person was shot at apartments in East Brainerd early Friday morning.
On Friday, at 2:16 a.m., HCSO deputies were dispatched to Standifer Place Apartments, 3400 Jenkins Road, Chattanooga, to investigate a shooting.
Deputies arrived at 2:20 a.m. and found that Shaun P. Cleaver, 28, had been shot multiple times. Mr. Cleaver was transported to a local hospital by HCEMS. Mr. Cleaver is listed in serious condition.
At this time, the investigation has determined that Mr. Cleaver lives at the Standifer Place apartment complex and apparently, while entering the wrong apartment, was shot by the resident.
The investigation is ongoing in reference to the actions of Mr. Cleaver, which resulted in him entering the wrong apartment.
At this point, further details are not available as this is an ongoing investigation.
