A Christmas Carol Auditions Hosted By Back Alley Productions

  • Friday, September 4, 2015

Back Alley Productions will host auditions for the retelling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.  Auditions are Sept. 7 and 8 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the Colonnade Performing Arts Theater, 264 Catoosa Cir.

Review for A Christmas Carol:

The beloved holiday classic details the personal redemption of Ebenezer Scrooge, a cruel and wealthy miser who, with the guidance of three Christmas ghosts, relearns his humanity. On a broad level, Christmas Carol taps into the giving nature of the holiday season by examining the assumptions of privilege, the dangers of ignoring poverty and the individual’s responsibility to the humblest members of every community.

A monologue will be provided to participants when they arrive and they will be given time to become comfortable with the monologue.  Participants may also be asked to stay and read with other actors afterwards.
