Bedwell, Norma Grace (Trenton)

Norma Grace Bedwell, 79, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015.

She enjoyed baking pies, reading her Bible, and spending time outdoors; however, it was her unwavering and unmatched faith and perseverance which best defined her life. She was a member of Circle of Faith Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman O. Parson, Sr. and Lydia Collins; son, Larry Newman; and daughter, Roberta Newman Kirk. 

Survivors include her husband, Frank D. Bedwell of Trenton; daughters, Esther (Leamon) McKinney of Birmingham and Robin (Steve) Patton of Trenton; son, James (Ginze) Newman of Harrison; step-children, Angela O’Dell, Regina Blalock and Margie Kay; brothers, Ray Massengale of Cleveland and Maurice (Charlynn) Parson of Ooltewah; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to extend special thanks to Mary, Becky and the Tapestry Hospice Staff. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, in the chapel of Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Howell officiating. Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends 2-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 and noon until service time on Sunday, Sept. 6 at Ryan Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
