Ruby Falls has honored three employees with the annual John T. Steiner, Sr. Memorial Scholarship.  They are Alyssa Boates-Miller, Libby Worely and McKenzie Morgan.

This scholarship awards employees who are outstanding students in college, selected by a scholarship committee. Mo Steiner, widow of Jack Steiner, Sr., represents the Steiner family in awarding the memorandums annually.

Ms. Boates-Miller is an accountancy major at University of Memphis and has worked at Ruby Falls for five years. She participates in Jesus Cares, an organization that seeks to provide Christmas presents and dinner to those less fortunate in the community. When not studying or working, she enjoys embroidery and sewing in her spare time.

Ms. Worely is an engineering major at UTC and has worked at Ruby Falls for over a year. She attended East Ridge High, where she was vice president of her class as well as parliamentarian. She has worked with Girls on the Run, Girls Inc. and volunteered for Take Back the Night and the Scenic City Marathon.

Ms. Morgan also attends UTC and is currently studying exercise science. She is a member of the Freshman Leadership at UTC’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry, a part of UTC’s club soccer team and has participated in many mission trips through First Baptist of South Pittsburg.  Ms. Morgan has worked at Ruby Falls for two years.
