A 54-year-old Rossville man died in an altercation at a trailer home on Orchard Avenue on Tuesday.
The incident that took the life of Torry Creek happened around 7 p.m.
The Walker County Sheriff's Office is investigating what was described as a fight between the victim and another man.
Both men were taken to the hospital.
Creek was unresponsive when paramedics arrived.
A family member said they believed the victim was choked.
