Grace Stigger
Grace Lewanda Stigger, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in a local health care facility.
She was employed by Gold Bond.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Foster; second mother, Prince Lee Ashford; and brother, Clarence E. Ashford. Survivors include daughters, Camisha Ashford of Clarksville, TN and Gumina Ashford of Chattanooga; sisters, Glenna Foster and Cheralene Patterson, both of Chattanooga; and six grandchildren. She also had great support from Anthony Ashford and Angel Walker, who was a good friend and caregiver; Brenda Shelton and Mrs. Bobo; other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Sunday, Jan. 31, after 1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ruth Thomas as the eulogist.
