Willie Roy Anderson, 75, died on October 11, 2016 at residence.  

He was a graduate of Howard High School and an US Army Vietnam veteran. 

He was a Barber at Green Light Barber Shop and a member of Thankful Memorial Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Samuel and Helen Anderson; brother, Samuel Anderson, Jr.; sister, Rosetta Anderson Clay.

Survivors include his daughter, Neidre Anderson of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Jackie (Earl) Drake of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Brandon Anderson and Brianne Southers, of Chattanooga, TN; two great-grandchildren; niece, Tanga Richie; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, Oct. 20, at Thankful Memorial Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Wednesday, Oct. 19, and the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
