Annie Jo Gunson Bowers, 89, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away peacefully Friday, November 11, 2016.
Survivors are her daughter, Billie (Mickey) Skates of LaFayette; sons, Tom (Barbara) Bowers of Hendersonville, TN and Jim (Shirley) Bowers of LaFayette; grandchildren, Jackson Bowers, Tracy Skates, Wendy Banther, Lt. Col. Hunter Bowers, Grant Bowers and Carly Howard; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and loving cousin, Andy Watson.
Funeral service in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Monday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Jerry Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Cemetery. Pallbearers are grandsons.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Sunday, Nov. 13 from 5-8 p.m.
