2 Shot And Robbed On Vance Avenue Sunday Evening

Rigoberto Salvador-Morales, 34, and Celso Perez, 20, were shot and robbed on Sunday evening on Vance Avenue.

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a call at 6:41 p.m. for parties shot and robbery from person. CPD officers located the two men suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2200 block of Vance Avenue.

 Both men were transported via ambulance to a local hospital, but their injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The victims were sitting in a parked vehicle when two men approached the passenger side and fired shots striking Mr.
Perez. 
Suspects then went to the driver's side and fired shots striking Mr. Salvador-Morales.
 
 The suspects left the scene with the driver's wallet and cell phone. 
 
The Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau continues to investigate this incident. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.
