Lennys Grill & Subs To Open In Chattanooga Early In 2017

  • Monday, December 5, 2016
Navy veteran and longtime restaurant management professional Colin Woodcook is set to open a new Lennys Grill & Subs in Chattanooga early next year on Brainerd Road, joining just one other area location for the Memphis-based brand.

After working in operations on a nuclear aircraft carrier, Mr. Woodcook jumped into the restaurant industry, holding management positions with everything from fine dining establishments to a brewery concept to a catering company.
He made Chattanooga home a decade ago and now is making the transition from management to ownership in the restaurant business.

Officials said, "This comes at a time of growth for Lennys, and Chattanooga is pivotal to its development plans moving forward. Lennys recently went through a rebranding, changing the company's name from Lenny's Subs to Lennys Grill & Subs, introducing a new logo and updating its restaurants' look.
