The Bethlehem Center will host its sixth annual fundraiser, Breakfast of Champions, on Thursday, March 3 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Tyner United Methodist Church.

The Bethlehem Center hosts this annual fundraiser to "recognize and celebrate members of the community who have chosen to honor God by using their time, gifts, and talents to empower children and families in South Chattanooga."

This year, the organization will honor Willie Kitchens, Chattanooga native and former member of the R&B soul and gospel group The Impressions. Mr. Kitchens is an alum of the Bethlehem Center. After his successful music career, he returned to The Bethlehem Center as a volunteer. He devoted his time and talent to teach music education to students for more than two decades.

Breakfast of Champions will feature gospel singing, a special presentation from the Bethlehem Center children honoring Mr. Kitchens and a made from scratch breakfast thanks to the men at Tyner United Methodist Church.

There is no fee to attend; however, a love offering will be taken.  Table sponsorships are available for $1,000 and all proceeds go to the Bethlehem Center's After-School and Summer Academies.

To reserve a table, a seat or for more information about the breakfast, email dboggs@thebeth,org or call 423-266-1384 ext. 6.
