2 Arrested In Bradley County On Drug Charges

  • Friday, March 18, 2016

A traffic stop in Bradley County led to the arrest of two men on Friday.

Bradley County deputies filed charges against Jordan Tyrell Boles, 22, of Hixson, and Ryan Taylor, 20, of Cleveland, after an officer initiated a traffic stop of a Chevrolet Impala for a possible window-tint violation on Harrison Pike.

As the officer exited his patrol vehicle, the passenger, identified as Taylor, jumped from the Impala, running across a field before being taken into custody after he fell across a fence. The driver, Boles, left the scene in the Impala. Deputies stopped the car on Harris Creek Road, and arrested him.

Boles was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and evading arrest, while Taylor faces charges of possession of Schedule VI and failure to stop, halt and frisk.

Sheriff Eric Watson commended the deputies involved in the arrests, saying, “Thankfully, the two subjects involved didn’t injure members of the public due to the fact Bradley County deputies were alert and put a stop to the incident quickly.”
