Nolan Denson Lance, 90, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, April 15, 2016.

Nolan retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with over 40 years of service. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan. He was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nancy Smalley Lance; wife, Katharita.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Lance; son, Greg (Tammy) Lance; daughter, Angela (Tony) Silvio; step daughter, Christie (Richard) Levi; stepsons, Jim (Debbie) Hamilton and Bryan (Dottie) Hamilton; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one step great-grandson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. CST at Crestwood Funeral Home in Gadsden, Al., with the funeral service following at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
