Police Blotter: Pair Caught On Highway 27 After Walmart Shoplifting

Police said Shararia Green and Tierra Toney were seen stealing from the Walmart on Highway 153, but they got away.

However, their Isuzi Trooper was stopped by Red Bank Police for speeding.

They were charged with theft under $500.

Police said a birthday cake and cupcakes were recovered.

Eric Casey said he had a flat tire on his boat trailer on Cummings Road.

He pulled the boat and trailer to the side of the road and went to get tools to fix the flat.

When he returned, the trailer had been moved nearby to Carl Swafford Drive.

He left again. When he returned this time, the Brendella ski boat was not in sight.

A woman said she left her purse in her car while at Heritage Park at Jenkins Road. Her car was locked.

Someone broke the passenger side window and took her purse.

When she called about her credit card, someone had already made purchases of $210.31 and $320.65 at Belks at Hamilton Place.

The thieves were caught on video. There is also video of their car and tag. The tag did not come back to the car it was on.

A would-be burglar on Hargreaves Avenue could not break through.

A rear sliding door was opened that led into a sun room.

The thief tried to kick open a door to the kitchen, but it would not yield. A window was also shattered, but no entry was made.

Brian Lee said he paid a visit to Leah Ketterer on Sunset Drive. Bradley Froemke also showed up.

Froemke became angry, picked up Ms. Ketterer's purse, and left with it, police said. It contained her keys.

Froemke was seen standing by her car with a knife cutting a tire, police stated. Lee said when he approached him he was told, "I'll shoot you."

It was later found that each of the four $250 tires on the car were cut. The cost for a new Mercedes Benz key was $387.

Warrants were taken against Froemke for theft over $1,000 and vandalism over $1,000.

At the Brainerd Walmart, Stephan Torra was seen stealing $49.23 in items, according to store officials.

He was charged with theft under $500.

Also at the Brainerd Walmart, Jeremy Jones was seen selecting two cell phone accessories and putting them in his pocket.

He is also facing a shoplifting charge.

Officials at J.C. Penny at Hamilton Place said Christopher Whitlock was caught secreting items and trying to leave without paying.

He was also charged.
