CFC Kicks Off Season With Flurry Of Events

The Chattanooga Football club kicks off their season with games on Saturday June 14 but will several big events over the next 7 days.  


CFC WOMEN HOST ALABAMA FC: The Chattanooga FC women's team will open their season with a home game this Saturday against Alabama FC.  The roster features plenty of local flavor along with Chattanooga's Drew Courtney as head coach. 

CFC MEN TRAVEL TO BIRMINGHAM: The men will take to the road to open their season against the Birmingham Hammers.  They return home for the a US Open Cup game next Wednesday and then host three straight games through May 28. 

CFC FOUNDATION HOSTS MLS STARS: Former MSNT and MLS stars Landon Donovan, Brian Ching and Stuart Holdon will be in town as part of the CFC Foundation Celebrity Weekend June 20 and 21. Events include youth clinic on Friday, a family fun run and autographs on Saturday.   For more information go to www.chattanoogafc.com. 

LAMAR HUNT US OPEN CUP: Chattanooga will host Reading United AC in the second round of the national tournament on Wednesday, May 18.  
A draw was held on Thursday and Chattanooga won the right to host a third round game on June 1st assuming they win in the first round.
Tickets for the Cup are $7 but a season pass bracelet or jersey will get you in free. 

UNIFORMS AND COCA-COLA PARTNERSHIP: Chattanooga FC revealed the 2016 uniforms in April featuring the training, away, home and goalkeeper kits to a crowd of 300+. Pre-order sales were almost triple from previous years.  The 2016 home jersey also serves as a season ticket to all CFC matches.

Chattanooga Coca-Cola and Chattanooga FC reached an agreement earlier this year.  Fans will enjoy Chattanooga FC logos and colors with a Coca-Cola blend. 

CFC TO HOST MEXICAN PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPION: Chattanooga official also announced that reigning Liga MX (Mexican Premier League) champions UANL Tigres' reserve team will play here at Finley Stadium against the CFC sid on Thursday, July 14 in an exhibition match.
