The Dalton State Roadrunners have signed another junior college star to join the team in the fall.

Veteran Dalton State Coach Tony Ingle announced Monday that his staff has inked the National Junior College Athletic Association’s leading rebounder. Sayvon Wilson, a 6-4 small forward from East Georgia State College in Swainsboro. He averaged 13.7 rebounds per game for the Bobcats last season.

“We are very excited to have Sayvon as our newest member of the Roadrunners,” said Ingle.

“He plays with so much heart and has an uncanny ability to rebound the basketball.”
