Larry Theodore Steele, 65, lifelong residence of Harrison, died on Monday, May 30, 2016.

He was a retired carpenter and a member of Denny Hill Baptist Church and was a United States Navy veteran.

Larry was loved by both family, friends and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Austil and Inez Ramsey Steele; one sister, Pamela Couch.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roxann Steele; two daughters, Tammy (Mike) Dantzler, Edie (Perry) McCommon; two step-daughters, Rayshawnda and Co Coa Hicks; step-son, Jevon Hicks; brother, Jerry (Joyce) Steele; sisters, Beverly (Ricky) Morgan, Mickey Adkinson; grandchildren, Solomon and Hannah Dantzler, Christopher Espy, Josie and Emilee McCommon; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, at 7 p.m. in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Dotson and Reverend James Dotson officiating. Burial will be private.
