John Phillip “Phil” Levi, 66, of Signal Mountain, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
A graduate of Chattanooga High School, Class of 1967, he attended the University of Tennessee. Phil had served our country in the Vietnam War, earning several awards including the Purple Heart. He was a contract worker for TVA.
Phil was preceded in death by his father, John P. Levi; grandparents, George and Edna Levi and George and Lois Phillips.
Survivors include his mother, Mabel P. Levi; sister, Rebecca (David) Dowdy; nephew, Matthew; uncles, George E. (Emily) Levi and George Allen (Teri) Phillips; several cousins.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, in the chapel with Dr. Steven Wright officiating. Private burial will be in Levi Cemetery.
