Surviving An Active Shooter Training Seminar Set For May 16

  • Friday, May 6, 2016

The Run, Hide, Fight: Surviving an Active Shooter seminar will be held Monday, May 16, from 7-9 p.m. at Brainerd Presbyterian Church, EPC, at 1624 Jenkins Road.  The program will be presented by Jerry C. Stout, special agent, Bureau of Preparedness Office of Homeland Security.

Terrorism can even come to Chattanooga as was experienced last July.  This is just one of the reasons we are sponsoring this program.  Another reason is that studies have shown the number of active shooter attacks in this country has been increasing.  The trend indicates the need for the public to be informed, alert, and prepared, said officials.

This program is open to all.  Those in a leadership role in churches are especially invited to attend.
