James Loyd Williams, 78, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
He was a resident of Fort Oglethorpe for 32 years and was of the Methodist faith. Loyd will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Gilbert.
Loyd is survived by his daughters, Pam Hodges, of Orlando, Fl., Marsha (Ray) Ballenger, of Cloudland, Ga., and grandson, Cody (Kelbi) Ballenger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in Geraldine Cemetery, Geraldine, Al.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 1, and until time of service on Saturday.
