Anna K. Park McKenzie, 94, of Georgetown, Tennessee, died on Friday, July 1, 2016.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, Anna was a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church for 30 years, Grace Episcopal Church for 35 years and the time of her death was a charter member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church of Ooltewah. 

She was a 1939 graduate of Central High School and Edmondson School of Business and was retired from Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company.  In her early years she taught Sunday school at Grace Church, was a member of the Altar Guild both at Grace Church and St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Churches.  She was also a Girl Scout leader for a number of years. 

Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Thomas L. McKenzie, her son, Thomas Park McKenzie, her parents, Captain William Fred and Julia Barkla Park; brothers Fred and Grant Park. 

Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne Ellen McKenzie, special daughter-in-law, Connie McKenzie and special grandson, Tyler Jordan McKenzie, all of Georgetown, Tennessee; nephews Charles and John (Nancy) Park, other nephews and a niece.   

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 7555 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends at the church from 12-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday before the service.
Anna’s family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Francis of Assisi
Building Fund.
 

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
