Carl Masterson
Carl Masterson Jr., 85, of Chattanooga, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Carl was born on July 25, 1930 to the late Carl Greene Masterson and Willie Mae Scoggins Masterson. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Combustion Engineering after 32 years as a Quality Control Inspector. He was a member of the Crosspath Baptist Church, formerly East Ridge Baptist Church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; Douglas Masterson, Jerry Dean Masterson, and Grover Masterson.
He is survived by his precious wife of 62 years, Delorous Horton Masterson of Chattanooga; sister, Aline (Robert) Reno of Ooltewah; sister-in-law, Barbara Masterson of Brevard, NC, and June Masterson of McDonald, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, July 25, at Lakewood Gardens East with Reverend Lawson Horton and Reverend Landon Horton officiating.
