  • Monday, August 1, 2016

Former Chattanooga Christian School head basketball coach David Conrady will take the reins of a state championship Texas high school basketball team.

He has been named to head the boys squad at Prestonwood Christian Academy at Plano, which has won the state title for five straight years.

The prior coach, Chris Lovell, moved on to Bossier Parish Community College. He was 99-13 during his three years at Prestonwood.

Conrady was an assistant for the UTC Mocs from 2004-2010.

He was at CCS for two years, winning the district title this past season.

Conrady coached for 23 years at the collegiate level.

He will continue in a role as the national basketball director for SCORE International - a mission program.

Eddie Salter is the new CCS head boys basketball coach after an earlier tenure in that spot.
