Cleveland City Schools Presents This Week's Calendar

Cleveland Middle School science students will compete in a Solar Hot Dog Cooking ContestTuesday11:00 am in front of the school. Mrs. Gregory's Advanced Science Class have used the Engineering Design Process to design solar hot dog cookers. They are ready to compete against their classmates to see if they can make a hot dog reach 100 degrees Celsius.

Arnold Memorial Elementary will host their 4th Annual Jr. Beta Club Induction Ceremony on Thursday6:00 pm in the auditorium. The club's sponsors, Mrs. Runyan and Mrs. Martin, will induct 20 new members into the club.  The new members will accept their official National Jr. Beta Club certificate and pin. For more information contact Mike Chai, 423-472-2241,mchai@clevelandschools.org.   
 
Join George R. Stuart Elementary outside on the lawn for Screen on the Green this Thursday, 7:30 pm. The students voted for the movie, and Zootopiawon! Admission is free, along with popcorn and water. E.L. Ross Elementary hosts the Student of the Month Sundae Party on Friday. This month Ross' focus habit is "Be proactive." Students are learning to be responsible and take charge of their words, actions, thoughts, and attitudes. The phrase to remember is "Be proactive. I'm in charge of me."
