The Dalton State men's soccer team displayed a total team effort while dismantling the first year soccer program of Life University, 6-0, at Lakeshore Park on Thursday night.

Sebastian Guzman and Daniel Valenciano scored one goal each in the first and second periods. Santiago Moore continued his consistent scoring season with one goal in the first half and four assists on the night. Rury Alvarez completed the scoring for the Roadrunners with 8:52 left in the match on a curling free kick past the outstretched hands of the Running Eagles' keeper.

"It was nice to get a shutout as both goalkeepers, freshman Raymundo Bahena and sophomore Diego Gonzales split halves in the net," said head coach Karem Daser. "It was a team win. I felt like our midfielders Rury Alvarez and freshman Justice Nmerejini had solid performances tonight. Our captains Israel Guiterrez and Jordan Man were solid in the back."
