Donovan Savoy, 22, Shot In Drive-by Shooting On East 12th Street

Donovan Savoy, 22, was shot Thursday evening in the 2100 block of East 12th Street.

The Chattanooga Police Department responded to a call regarding a person shot who had arrived at a local hospital via personal vehicle. 

Savoy suffered from a single gunshot wound to the left thigh. His victim's injuries are considered non-life-threatening. He told investigators he was standing beside a vehicle when he was shot from a passing vehicle. The vehicle is described as a four-door silver Impala. 

Investigators with the Chattanooga Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau continue to follow all actionable leads. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.  The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
