  • Monday, September 26, 2016

To open the holiday season, The Chattanooga Music Club will present its 5th annual free Holiday Spectacular on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m., at Chattanooga's Soldiers and Sailors Auditorium, featuring guest organist Jeff Harbin on the Mighty Austin Pipe Organ. Also performing will be the Metropolitan Bells under the direction of Gary Bynum and The Nashville Street Singers directed by Jim Bailiff.

When guests arrive, they will receive a sweet treat as they are greeted by Santa Claus (Charles "Chuck" Church) and his helper, Ballerina Princess Julianna Geddie, and will enjoy music by the Metropolitan Bells. In the inner lobby, they will meet Buddy Shirk as "Buddy the Elf' while members of the CMC entertain concert goers with holiday piano music on the piano supplied by Summitt Pianos.

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and is open to the public free of charge. Donations always appreciated.

Jeffrey Warren Harbin, featured organist, will entertain on the Mighty Austin Pipe Organ, The Voice of the Auditorium, surrounded by holiday stage decorations.

Mr. Harbin holds the Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University in 1999, and in 2002 he completed a Master of Music degree with a concentration in Choral Conducting.
