GNTC Lady Bobcats Drop Home Match To Crown

A return to the familiar surroundings of the Rossville Athletic Center wasn't enough for the Georgia Northwestern Lady Bobcats on Monday night as they dropped a 25-21, 25-16, 25-22 decision to The Crown College.

Serena Turner had 15 assists, three kills, three aces and two blocks for Georgia Northwestern. Sierra Crew picked up five kills and an ace, while Michaela Suttles had four kills and two blocks to go with an ace.

Madalyn Morrison finished with four kills and four blocks. Kaitlyn Castle added four kills, an ace and a block and Shelby Thompson had seven digs, four assists, two aces and a kill.

Georgia Northwestern (1-5) will travel to Huntsville, Ala. on Saturday night to face Oakwood University. They will return home on Monday to host Hiwassee College and the Bryan College junior varsity squad in a tri-match.

Monday will also be Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Night at the RAC. Matches will begin at 6 p.m.
