Hoyt Lee Bailey, 80, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Redmond Regional Medical.
Mr. Bailey was born in Gore, GA on June 17, 1936 to the late James Bailey and Pearl Fowler Bailey; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Oneida Goodridge; and brothers, Jack Bailey, Richard Bailey, and Bud Bailey.
He was an assembly line technician with Freightliner, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his children, Hoyt Bailey, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, Michael Bailey, Michelle Bailey and Melissa Bailey; sisters, Erma Cureton and Opal Quarles; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mr. Bailey’s wishes, he will be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
