David York, 59, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his home after several years of illness.
The son of the late James Haskell York and Donna Mae Rowalt York, he was a former employee of US Stove in Bridgeport, AL and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sue York of South Pittsburg; brothers, Brad York of Bucyrus, OH, Donald York of Marion, OH and Mark York of Bucyrus, OH; sisters, Cynthia Brown of Lavista, NE and Laura York of Bucyrus, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at New Hope Cemetery at 3 p.m. Central time on Saturday, Oct.1 with Rev. Joe Moore officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, on Friday, Sep. 30, from 5-8 p.m. Central time and on Saturday from noon until service time.
