A four-story storage facility is planned on Cowart Street near I-24.

The building will have a single 17,000-square-foot footprint, with parking to the side of building.

The site is located on the east side of Cowart Street approximately 50 feet north of the Cowart Street and 25th Street intersection.

Access is only available on Cowart Street.

The site abuts an Interstate 24 onramp to the north. East of the site is a three-story building surrounded by a parking field. To the west are several two-story warehouse buildings. South of the site is an undeveloped parcel.

The applicant on the project is Berry Engineers.

The Regional Planning Agency is recommending approval for rezoning of the site.

It goes before the Planning Commission next Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
