Signal Mountain Playhouse Presents Greater Tuna Feb. 10-25

The Signal Mountain Playhouse will present the comedy "Greater Tuna" on Feb. 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25 at The Crest Center of Signal Crest United Methodist Church, 1105 Ridgeway Ave. This is the same road as the main mountain highway, 127 N.  The Crest Center is located at the rear of the church complex  

Directed by Michelle Ford and starring Mark Oglesby and Dennis Parker, playing all 19 parts, "Greater Tuna" deals with the quirky characters of Tuna, Texas, "the third smallest town in the state." Two Tuna deejays are visited by these characters in a radio studio, where they reveal their offbeat personalities and lives in live broadcasts.  

Performed hundreds of times across the country, "Greater Tuna" is a favorite, said officials.  

Tickets are $15, which includes dessert and coffee prior to curtain.  Tickets are for sale at the door or in advance at the Mountain Arts Community Center, 809 Kentucky Avenue, or by calling 886-1959.  The box office opens at 6:45 p.m., and dessert service begins at that time as well.
