James A. “Jim” Matteson, 72, died on Friday, January 20, 2017.
He was previously employed with 3M and also Chattanooga Saw and Supply Company and was a member of Bayside Baptist Church.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Louise Matteson.
Survivors include his sister, Karen, first cousin, Jill Romito and several other cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Greenwood Cemetery with Reverend Grady Cooper officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
