Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Presents Halloween Spooktacular Oct. 29

  • Friday, October 20, 2017

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will present their family-friendly Halloween music event, Halloween Spooktacular, on Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Center for Creative Arts.

This one hour concert, which begins at 3 p.m., is filled with Halloween music that kids and adults alike will recognize. The concert will feature spooky classics including Night on Bald Mountain, the Phantom of the Opera Overture, and In the Hall of the Mountain King.

“Our Halloween family concert is one of my favorite events, and it’s fun for the musicians, who get the chance to dress in costume as well,” said Samantha Teter, CSO executive director, “It will be an entertaining afternoon for families and those who love some spooky classics.”

Attendees are welcome to come in costume. Halloween festivities will start at approximately 2 p.m. with an interactive instrument petting zoo.

Tickets are $5 for children and $25 for adults and can be purchased by calling the CSO Box Office at 267-8583 or online at www.chattanoogasymphony.org. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the concert.
