Lois Elaine Ledden, 89, passed away on Monday, October 23, at Rhea Medical Center.

She was born in Fawn Grove, Pa., on April 20, 1928, to the late Stewart Slenker and Hazel (Askew) Slenker. 

Lois attended Bakewell Bible Church. She also attended Philadelphia School of the Bible and was a faithful missionary in Japan. Later she was an executive assistant at Stone & Webster Engineering Company. At home she loved gardening.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hester and Lynn (Joe) Runyon of Dayton and son, Larry (Sandy) Ledden of Portland, N.Y., 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
