Wanda Faye Powell, 68, of Rossville passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017. She was of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Louis Evett; husband, Hershel Powell, Sr.; three children, Hershel, Jr., Janice and Priscilla Powell; grandchild, Chelsie Powell; sister, Mildred Wortman.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her children, Angela (Tommy) Hussey, Levis (Roger) Tutton, Leon and Hershel Powell; siblings, Paul, Carl, Patricia, and Mary Evett; grandchildren, Joshua Hahn, Amber Forester, Malcom and Randi Tutton, Anthony Collins, Jasmine Goins, Alvin and Jenny Kilgore, Michael and Leonard Hussey and Alexis Powell; great grandchildren, Kohl, Levi, Sydnee, Lanie and Karma; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home and prior to the service on Tuesday.
