Veteran’s Educational Forum Is Wednesday At CSCC

  • Monday, November 27, 2017

The Alpha Beta Mu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Chattanooga State Community College invites the community to its “Honors in Action” forum this Wednesday from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Omniplex Building, room OMN-124, on the main campus, 4501 Amnicola Hwy.

The forum will focus on information and resources that will aid veterans with employment opportunities. Several organizations throughout the Chattanooga area will participate in an educational panel discussion at the event.

"Honors in Action is designed to engage students in informed action that fosters student success and helps fulfill the PTK mission to provide college students opportunities to grow as scholars and leaders. PTK members have opportunities to apply learning and practice real-world problem-solving by developing an in-depth, action-oriented project related to research of an Honors Study Topic," officials said.

PTK will be serving light refreshments and the event is family friendly. For more information, contact PTK advisor Rachael Falu at 423-697-2412 or email rachael.falu@chattanoogastate.edu.
