Erlanger Health System along with McCarthy Construction and HKS Architects celebrated the milestone of “Topping Out” at the new Children’s Hospital at Erlanger Outpatient Center.
Topping out refers to the placement of the final beam on the top most point of the structure, signaling the completion of the first phase of building the new facility.
Officials from Erlanger and McCarthy spoke to the crowd consisting of construction workers, hospital staff and Believe campaign donors.
The new facility is estimated to open in December 2018.
