Gertrude Smith
Gertrude Smith, 97, of Ooltewah, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at her residence.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Gertrude was the daughter of the late Ernest and Cora Hayes Harris and was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Smith; son, Ron Smith; sister, Maxine Harris; and brothers, Hayes and Harold Harris.
Survivors include her daughter, Jan Veal; grandchildren, Sarah and Josh Veal; sister, Christine Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Ruehling officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Graysville, Tn.
