Cruise, Deborah Jo

Deborah Jo Cruise, 59, of Fort Oglethorpe, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 29, 2017.  Deborah was born in Chattanooga to the late Eldon and Pearl Cruise and was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, north Georgia area.  She was of the Church of Christ faith.  Deborah had attended Orange Grove School in Chattanooga.  She loved being with her family, dancing, singing and working puzzles.  Deborah is preceded in death by her brother, David Cruise and sister, Shelia Cruise.

Survivors are her brothers, Mark (Carmen) Cruise, Ft. Oglethorpe, Steve (Jannie) Cruise, Ft. Oglethorpe, and Tim (Cathy) Cruise, Ft. Oglethorpe; sisters, Judy Dickson, Ft. Oglethorpe, and Stacey (Todd) Haney, Sale Creek, and Sherry Cruise, Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister C.G. Griffith officiating.  Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

The family would like to thank Parkside Nursing Home and Staff for their love and care extended to Deborah.
