Broderick Autry, 42, Shot On East 4th Street

Broderick Autry, 42, was shot on Friday morning on East 4th Street.
 
Officers from the Chattanooga Police Department responded at 11:39 a.m. to the 1800 block of East 4th Street on a report of a person shot.  Upon arrival, officers were advised that the victim had been transported to a local hospital via a privately-owned vehicle.
 
Investigators spoke to the victim at the hospital about the incident.
The victim advised that he was outside a residence when he was shot by a passing vehicle. Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this shooting.
