BIG, The Musical Is Feb. 16-18

BIG, the musical will be presented by Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts musical theatre students on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.  Due to illness among the cast, the Thursday evening production has been cancelled.

BIG, The musical was created in 1996 for Broadway, and is based on the 1988 film starring Tom Hanks and features some BIG songs and dances. The story centers around Josh Baskin (played by Justin Cox) who makes a wish at a carnival to become "BIG". His wish is granted, and suddenly he is living the life of a 13-year-old boy in a grown man's body (played by Ben Cain). With the help of his best friend Billy (Nick Lyles), Josh must reverse his wish. BIG, the musical is directed by Mr. Vincent Pelligrino; choreography by Ms. Lindsay Fussell.

Tickets for the event will be sold at the door and are $10 (no reservation needed). Center for Creative Arts is at 1301 Dallas Road.
