Edwina K. Cranfield, 93, of Franklin, Tennessee, and formerly of Hixson, Tennessee died on February 17, 2017.
Edwina was born in Chattanooga, on March 8, 1923. She graduated from City High School. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Franklin Earl “Buck” Cranfield, Sr., son, Franklin Earl Cranfield, Jr., mother and father, Gaither and Mabel Kyle, sister, Bette West Gillespie, brother, Paul Edward Kyle and great-granddaughter, Chloe McDaniel.
Edwina is survived by her daughter, Trina C. (Hale “Mack”) Holland, Franklin, granddaughter, Angela H. (Tim) Mills, Franklin, granddaughter, Jennifer (Gary) McDaniel, and grandson Ryan (Amber) Cranfield both of Burlington, Ky. She is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Ashley Mills of Franklin, Kaleigh Cranfield, great-grandson, Brayden Cranfield, both of Burlington, great-granddaughter, Hannah McDaniel, and great-grandson, Frankie McDaniel, both of Burlington.
She was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church, Hixson.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. David Harr officiating.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Saturday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
