Russel Allen Cain, 78, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
He was born on April 8, 1938 in Riceville, TN to the late Clyde & Iona Cain. He worked 58 years for TDOT before retirement. Russel was a member of Tasso United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Thompson; and brother Gary Cain.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Jean Cain; son Allen Cain and his wife Anne; three beloved grandchildren Alexander, William & Katelyn; one brother Steve Cain; numerous other extended family members; and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Friday, February 24 at 4 p.m. at Tasso United Methodist Church located at 1106 Tasso Lane NE in Cleveland, TN, with Reverend Steve Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
