James Patterson
James Edward “Nubb” Patterson, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at his residence.
He was a former Georgia Pacific truck driver and Mercury Cab driver.
Survivors include his life partner, JoAnn Hughes; daughters, Beverly (James) Nicholson, Pamela (David) Garrett, Sandra (Wallace) Wade, and Alma (Arnell) Mitchell; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; mother, Pauline Staten; sister, Melba (Robert) Nichols; uncle, Archie (Gilda) Clay, all of Chattanooga; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Friday, Feb. 24, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Mark Garrett as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
