Veal, Melvin Ray

Melvin Ray Veal, 71, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

He worked with construction and was a member of Moore Road Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Ollie Veal; sister, Jean Dabbs and brother, Virlon Veal.

He is survived by his loving wife, Recilla Veal; sons, Terry (Wendy) Veal, Lookout Mountain, and Randall (Stacy) Veal, Robbinsville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Jake Veal and Ashlyn (Jace) Davis; one great granddaughter, Adilynn Veal; sister, Evelyn Bowden, Lookout Mountain; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Saint and Brother Steve Eakin officiating. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 12-8 p.m., and Wednesday, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
