Ballinger, Lois R. (Cleveland)

Lois R. Ballinger, of Bradley County since 1962, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare. 

Mrs. Ballinger was a retired nurse and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.  She loved her church, her family and most of all her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Ballinger was preceded in death by her parents, W.A. Robinson and Artie Mae Loftis Robinson; husband, Rev. J.C. Ballinger; son, Andy Ballinger; sister, Kathleen Scroggins; and granddaughter, Candace Murray.

She is survived by a son, John Paul Ballinger of Nashville; daughters, Joy Grace Ballinger of Cleveland and Janet Faith Murray (Chris) of Harrison; brother, Dub Robinson (Ruth) of Nashville; sister, Mae Palmer (Sonny), of North Carolina; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Brother Russell Coffey officiating.  Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 24 at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
