Jack Brooks
Jack B. Brooks, 73, son of L.B. Brooks, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, passed away in a local hospital on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
He was the owner of Jack’s Bait and Tackle for 50 years and was of the Christian faith.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, L.B. Brooks and loved one, Mary C. Gossard.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Chuck) Trotter, of Chattanooga; granddaughter; Katie Trotter; niece, Regina (John) Percy, great-nieces and nephews, Cory Smith, Brooke Percy, Rachel Percy and Jacob Percy, great-great-nephew, Ezra Smith.
The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 30, at 1 p.m. in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Brother Gene Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family would like to acknowledge Jack’s, loyal and faithful customers over the last 50 years. A special thanks to Trina Williams and Patti Murphy Burnette for the love and care that you gave to Jack.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, from 12–8 p.m. at the funeral home, and Thursday, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. with the service to follow.
