Hershel M. Shadwick, 93, of Soddy Daisy, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
He was born on September 23, 1923, in Soddy Daisy, to the late Rufus and Belle Shadwick. He was a World War II veteran. Mr. Shadwick was a member of Daisy Church of God where he served as clerk for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, June Shadwick; sons, Steve (Judy) Shadwick and David (Julia) Shadwick; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 11 a.m. in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Caleb Bolton officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday.
